This is the first time I have ever seen ads on the BBC news website. They did start with some BBC related ads at the top last year, but this is the first time I have seen a standard, non-BBC related ad - this one is for a financial service - on the right of the front page of http://news.bbc.co.uk
It must get a gazillion views, but I wonder who clicks on them.
